The Samuel Folwell School, depicting a woman seated holding her head in her hand and resting her elbow on a pedestal. "Affection / weeps and / Heaven / rejoiceth," supporting an urn and beneath a willow tree, a younger woman and a youth standing to the other side, with a black and gilt eglomise frame. The period frame is cove molded with oak leaves to the outer edge. Tears in silk to the head of the young lady and small loss to willow tree. Sight: 18 x 21-3/4 in.
