A NAKASHIMA STUDIOS FURNITURE DRAWING

Signed "Mira Nakashima" and dated January 8, 1983. Pictured are two pieces, including an "Odakyu cabinet" (not produced) and a shelf. A signed card accompanies the lot. It is interesting to note that although the Odakyu cabinet doesn't seem to have been produced, the asa-no-ha grillwork door design appears on the floor lamp (Lot 136). Because no other drawing accounts for this lamp, it may be inferred that it was the cabinet design that served to inspire it.
