[SLAVERY & ABOLITION]. Partly printed tax receipt for J.W. Camp and an enslaved individual. Richmond, VA, 1854.


6 7/8 x 2 1/4 in. partly printed tax receipt (losses at edges, brown staining, creasing). Undersigned. Docked to verso. 

Completed in manuscript for J.W. Camps noting the tax on "1 White Male" and "1 Slave". Additionally, 1 clock worth $2 and $100 worth of furniture is noted.
