First edition. 12mo, orig. two-tone blue cloth; moderate edge wear, d/j (minor chipping to edges, small tears - negligible paper loss). Darkening to front endpapers. With Nabakov's full autograph ink signature on front free endpaper recto and with an ink drawing of a butterfly in Nabakov's hand below his signature.
Dr. Albert Parry's copy. Dr. Parry was the chairman of the Russian Studies department of Colgate University, editor of Nabakov's annotated translation of Pushkin, and the first scholar to bring Nabakov's work to the attention of the English-speaking world. This vol. is not signed by or to Parry or otherwise marked by him.
