Unlabeled Necklace and Pendant, Attributed to Dior
This piece was once owned by Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo, the granddaughter of a prominent Argentinian family that hosted royalty in their Buenos Aires home, the Palacio Ortiz Basualdo. Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo was likewise known for her style, in fashion and at home, and was an ongoing client of Pierre Cardin’s.
This lot includes a necklace and pendant/brooch.
Comprised of alternating translucent green and green and black marbled cabochon synthetic stones, set in gold-tone hardware and accented with black rhinestones. The pendant/brooch contains the same cabochons arranged a larger green and black marbled stone.
