After four decades at Chanel, Lagerfeld earned a legacy as a creative force that reinvigorated the heritage label, infusing it with postmodern playfulness while honoring its roots. Equally versed in the languages of popular culture and the craft and traditions of couture, a combination described as ‘high fashion and high camp’, Lagerfeld’s reinvention of the brand and marketing savvy created a voracious appetite among young buyers, sealing the fate of the iconic double CC logo into this century’s visual lexicon. 

THE FIRST 
Black wool blend jacket and skirt. The jacket is cut with a notched lapel, set-in long sleeves, numerous vertical panels, raglan sleeve, and a center front pearl button closure. The jacket is lined with black silk woven with a flower and CC logo pattern and the interior hem is finished with a silver-tone chain. The skirt is made with vertical panels, waistband, and a zipper pocket over each hip that features a CC logo zipper pull.  The skirt is lined in black silk.
