With initial spaces and a few guide-letters, woodcut capital on 19a. (Some spotting and staining, a few mostly marginal tears repaired, some minor worming to first and last few leaves.) Contemporary blind-tooled vellum with central arabesque, tan morocco lettering-pieces; quarter morocco slipcase and chemise (upper joint starting, some soiling, a few tiny wormholes). Provenance: a few early annotations in ink; S. N. S. (old in initials on first text leaf); C. C. K. (morocco booklabel).
