(Some soiling and spotting, occasional offsetting, a few short marginal tears.) Modern calf-backed contemporary russia, black leather lettering-pieces gilt, edges marbled (rebacked with hinges reinforced, some light wear, some scuffing). Provenance: Harry Arnold Arnbarrow (bookplates); T. Harrison Surgeon (redacted signatures, 1834); Thomas Gough (signatures, 1863).
