Visible 13 1/2 x 9 5/8 in. printed broadside (toned, some wrinkling); framed to 15 7/8 x 12 in. (not examined out of frame).
A broadside featuring a charming illustration of an elephant wearing fancy boots with tassels, advertising the Preble Brother shoe salesmen. Advertisements for the merchants appear with frequency in the Fall River Daily Evening News in 1880 and continue through the decade.
