[POLITICS] -- [SLAVERY & ABOLITION]. Composite photograph featuring signers of the 13th Amendment, incl. Abraham Lincoln. [New York]: [Powell & Co.], [1865].
Visible image 11 3/4 x 13 3/4 in. (heavily toned with some brown staining); matted and framed to 17 1/4 x 21 1/4 in. (not examined out of frame).
Composite albumen photograph of the politicians who passed the 13th amendment which formally banned slavery. With slightly larger portraits of vice president Hannibal Hamlin at top center, Speaker of the House Schuyler Colfax at center, and President Lincoln at the bottom center.
