[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. FARACH & LALUMIA, photographers. CDV of New York City police officer. Brooklyn, NY: ca 1860s.
2 1/8 x 3 1/2 in. CDV on cardstock mount (some spotting to upper right portion of image, light soiling and wear to mount edges and corners). Farach & Lalumia's imprint on verso. Subject stands in full uniform, holding his baton with both hands. Inside the wreath insignia on his cap is an indiscernible number, "4[?]," and no details can be made out apart from the outline of his ample badge.
