Lot Description
[FLAGS]. United States Centennial "1776-1876" parade flag. Ca 1876.
46 1/2 x 29 in. cotton flag with printed five-pointed stars with five rays emanating from center, configured into the dates "1776" and "1876," on blue canton, which is machine-stitched to fly. The fly consists of 13 printed stripes (even toning, small holes and some areas of separation throughout, otherwise very good condition). Cotton hoist machine-stitched to flag, with 3 strings attached. Made for the Centennial celebration of American Independence.
