cast and chased to depict a hunter standing atop a tree stump flanked by a climbing bear pursued by two hounds on a naturalistic base, the interior fitted with a gilded cylindrical insert.
hallmarked to interior of lid and underside of liner for maker, city and '84' standard, further marked for assayer 'A.M' and dated '1850' to edge of base
