18TH-19TH CENTURY

(1) North Indian Painting
(Provincial Mughal, circa 1760)
Depicting female figures making offerings within a landscape to a Saiva yogina of the Kanphata sect of Gorakhnath.
Note: This painting is inscribed to Josepha Plymley, 1790.

(2) Painting of a lady within a pavilion and worshipping a deity, with attendant figures on a terrace and a lake in the background.
