the rounded body worked outlining a primary panel painted with three horses in a landscape, bordered by purple scrollwork above a yellow diaper ground and chrysanthemum and peony sprays. The upper register worked en suite and with intertwining butterflies, all flanked by two punched out handles, the mouth with pendant lappet borders. The back bearing an indentation for mounting, and the base painted cinnabar in imitation of a lacquer stand.
