Lot Description
An Incised Yellow Glazed Porcelain 'Cranes and Pines' Plate
JIAQING PERIOD (1796-1820)
清嘉慶 黃釉暗刻松鶴延年紋盤
finely potted with low rounded sides extending above the wide straight foot. The interior incised to the center with concentric bands framing cranes beneath arching pine boughs, the exterior walls with bats and vaporous clouds. All save the recessed base covered in a yolky glaze, settling with greater saturation in regions of low relief; the underside bearing a six-character seal mark.
