South Pacific Wood Bow and Fishing Spears, Collected by General Lawton (American, 1843-1899)

lot of 3, includes:
long wooden South Pacific bow, includes possible original fiber string length 75 inches
two cane fishing spears, no attached points
lengths 65-1/2 inches and 681-1/2 inches
includes loose spear point and tags attributing to the Philippines and General Lawton.
As a Captain in the U.S. army, Henry Lawton (1843-1899), was an instrumental figure in the Apache Wars and the surrender of Geronimo during the 1886 campaign. He would later serve in the Spanish-American War and would be killed in the Philippine-American War.
