Very Very Rare example, Morning-Day, Aurora with the Genius of Light [Berg 1-185] (contains no image; minimal surface soiling). -- 2 Rare examples, Parting of Hinda and Hafed [1-29R] (contains hand-tinted ambrotype of a woman; nicking and chipping to case, with surface soiling and discoloration to velvet pad) and Union and Constitution 2 [1-188] (contains daguerreotype portrait of a man; significant nicking and chipping to case corners, edges, and raised surfaces, with surface soil throughout). -- and 4 Common examples, General Marions Invitation to Dinner [1-23] (contains tintype of a young man; light nicking and chipping to case edges and corners with discoloration to velvet pad), Roger deCoverly and the Gypsies' Fortune [1-37] (contains daguerreotype of two girls identified behind image to Kentucky; significant nicking, chipping, and surface soil to case), Alone at the Rendezvous [1-35] (contains no image; significant nicking and chipping to case including major cracks and loss, with surface soiling and misalignment), Capture of Major Andre [1-22] (contains paper image; light nicking and chipping to corners). -- Together, 7 union cases with figural designs, some containing images.
