[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. A collection of 11 daguerreotypes featuring artistic borders, including:
Sixth plate portrait of a middle-aged woman holding a large book in her lap. (minor blemishes to upper portion of plate; re-glassed replaced and image resealed 2020.) Housed in a full pressed paper case. -- Sixth plate hand-tinted portrait of a lovely woman, her jewelry highlighted in gold and her skin tinted ivory. (Spotting to plate, mat, and preserver; unsealed.) Housed in a Rare Union case, Lady with Falcon 2 [Berg 1-113] (surface soiling, few nicks and chips to edges). -- Sixth plate portrait of a lady sitting in a chair. N.p.: J. Keagy, n.d. (Tarnishing around edges, spotting to mat and preserver; retains majority of original seal.) Housed in a pressed paper case (surface wear, some separation to spine). Paper label applied to mat printed "J. Keagy." -- And 8 other sixth plate daguerreotypes.
