Andrew Jackson political token. [1828]. Diameter 1 1/8 in. Obverse "I Take the Responsibility" with a man with a sword in box. Reverse, "The Constitution / As I Understand it. / Roman / Firmness / Veto" with a donkey. -- John C. Frémont political token. [1856]. Diameter 1 1/8 in. Obverse "John C. Fremont / Free Soil & Free Speech" with profile portrait of Frémont. Reverse "Wm. L. Dayton. / Free Speech / Free Men" with eagle and Federal shield. -- Ulysses S. Grant political token. Diameter 1 1/8 in. Obverse "18th President, U.S.A. / 1869 / 1877 / Ulysses S. Grant" with profile portrait of Grant. Reverse: "'The American Caesar' / 'Unconditional Surrender.'" -- Together, 3political campaign tokens, each encased.
[With:] Our Army token. 1864. Diam. 3/4 in. Obverse with profile of crowned Liberty, 12 stars, and "1864." Reverse with eagle and "Our Army." -- Union Forever token. 1865. Diam. 3/4 in. Obverse "Finest in War, Finest in Peace / 1865" with soldier mounted on horseback. Reverse "Union For Ever" with laurel and oak branches and Federal shield. -- Together, 2 Civil War tokens.
[Also with:] GAR Lincoln Centennial Medal. Philadelphia: Davisons, 1909. Diameter 3 in. Obverse with profile of Lincoln and text: "With Malice Toward None, With Charity for All / 1809 / 1909" and maker's mark. Reverse: "This medal was struck for the Grand Army of the REpublic in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln." With laurel and oak branches. -- RYDON, H.
