140+ silver gelatin photographs, including original prints and period copy images (some made from 19th century photographs) of locomotives, several including engineers, ranging in size from 4 1/2 x 2 3/4 in. to 7 x 5 in. Many versos with photographer's ink stamp as well as printed or written information about the locomotive, the railroad line, and other relevant details. Together, over 140 photographs, condition generally good to very good. Toning, soiling, spotting, and wear to some images, including a small group that may have undergone water damage. Some photographs also curl upward.
