FIRST EDITIONS, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY JOHNSON TO REVEREND CLAUDE S. WYATT, JR. to front free end paper. Two additional copies BOTH SIGNED BY JOHNSON. Johnson was the founder of Johnson Publishing Company in Chicago the publisher of Negro Digest, Ebony, and JET.
Addie Wyatt (1924-2012) was a civil rights activist and leader in the Labor movement, notably the first African American woman elected international vice president of a major labor union.
