National Political Campaign of 1944, Part I, Proceedings of Republican National Convention held at Chicago, June 26-28, Including Full Texts of Addresses and Platform. Washington, D.C.: United States News, 1944. -- Official program, The Republican 23rd National Convention, Chicago, Illinois, June 1944. -- An appointment as "Honorary Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms" for the June 1944 Republican National Convention. -- A group of 5 pamphlets promoting Dewey and detailing his political stances, all issued in 1944 by the Republican National Committee. -- Assorted tickets, invitations, and other political ephemera most related to the 1944 presidential campaign.

Thomas E. Dewey was a Governor of New York, and the 1944 Republican Party nominee or the presidency. He lost the 1944 election to incumbent Franklin D. Roosevelt, and lost the 1948 presidential election to Harry S. Truman.
