A Pair of Large Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Hexagonal Gu-Form Stands
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
each having a multifaceted central lobe decorated with a central frieze of beribboned auspicious symbols between bands of begonia flowerheads radiating amidst verdant scrolls. The spreading foot and flaring upper section each painted with sprays of lotus, chrysanthemum, lingzhi, prunus, and bordered with lappet spreads and ruyi heads, respectively, and the top with further floral spray about a central reticulated coin motif.
Height of each 26 3/4 in., 68 cm.
