VAN BUREN, Martin (1782-1862). Autograph letter signed ("M. Van Buren"), as Vice President, to Stephen Camberling (ca 1790-1872). Washington, D.C., 9 March 1834.
3 pages, 8vo, short separation at crease, modern cardstock frame affixed to rear panel. A letter of introduction for James Bell of Tennessee who was traveling to New York "on business." The recipient was the brother of Churchill Camberling, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from New York and well connected in New York society.
