Lot Description

ROOSEVELT, Franklin D. (1882-1945). Typed letter signed ("Franklin D. Roosevelt"), as nominee for New York governor, to Gustavus A. Rogers. New York, 15 August 1928. 


1 page, 4to, on Roosevelt & O'Connor letterhead, old creases, some stains. Roosevelt writes to the Democratic Party organizer regarding his involvement in several organizations and the gubernatorial campaign. He notes, "I shall be glad when it is all over and shall then dash back to Warm Springs, Georgia, for a rest."
