REAGAN, Ronald (1911-2004). Typed letter signed ("Ron"), to Mr. C.E. "Sandy" Sandstrom. Los Angeles, CA, 20 July 1977.
1 page, 4to, on Ronald Reagan letterhead. Reagan writes to a supporter and apologizes on behalf of the Secret Service for an unnamed faux pas. He notes that "they were probably more uptight than usual, because we did receive a threat while we were there that even made them change the travel route from Dixon to Rockford."
