PIERCE, Franklin (1804-1869). Four-language ship's paper signed ("Franklin Pierce"). N.p., n.d. 1 page, 560 x 442 mm, with intact seal, matted with contemporary engraving of Pierce by Alonzo Chappel, old creases, minor soiling, neatly joined at crease to verso.
Counter-signed by Secretary of State William L. Marcy (1786-1857, "Wm. L. Marcy"), with seal intact, yet not further completed with captain's name, ship's name, or other information for use.
