FIRST EDITION, one of approximately 2,000 copies printed. The novel, which began as two short stories ("Mrs. Dalloway in Bond Street" and "The Prime Minister") details a day in the life of Clarissa Dalloway set in post-First World War England, describing preparations for a party and the ensuing party.
