Two Large Japanese Porcelain Vessels

the first a large floor vase with the baluster body painted to show panels filled with birds and flowers, set on a wave ground with winged mythical beasts; the second a covered jar also decorated with birds in fight between floral blossoms.
Height of taller 37 1/4 in., 94.6 cm.
