Three Japanese Slip-Decorated Porcelain Vases
BY SEIFU YOHEI III (1851-1914)

the first a bluster jar, decorated with a bird resting besides blossoming orchids on a light blue and yellow ground; the second a cylindrical vase, carved to the slip with an egret in a pond against a light blue ground; the third another cylindrical vase with a floral sprig on a light pink ground; each signed with a two-character mark on the underside. 
Total height of largest 8 in., 20.3 cm.
