A Japanese Gold Lacquer Three-Case Inro
BY KOMA KORYU, 19TH CENTURY

銘「古滿巨柳作 (花押)」
the vertical rectangular inro decorated in gold and colored hiramaki-e, togidashi-e, kirigane and inlaid in mother-of-pearl depicitng a shishi lion catching a dragonfly on one side, a roaring tiger on the reverse, set on a mura-nashiji ground
signed Korma Koryu saku on the underside, together with a carved wood shishi-form netsuke. 
Length 2 7/8 in., 7.3 cm.
