SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY

清晚期 粉彩人物故事圖賞瓶一對
of towering proportion, the walls following an s-curve to rounded shoulders supporting a squat neck. Decorated with iron band at the foot, mouth ring, and shoulder, with semi-loop handles flanking the neck. Glazed in an oatmeal tone with a ruddy crackle, further painted with continuous narrative scenes. 
Height 14 1/4 in., 36 cm.
