LATE 19TH CENTURY

清晚期 礬紅墨彩鯉魚圖蓋罐一對
each having a squat globular body, and open mouth bordered with a ring of stylized ruyi-heads. Painted to the exterior with various floundering orange, grey, and black carp, and surmounted by a fluted roof-form cover terminating in a pineapple finial. 
Height 8 1/4 in., 21 cm.
