Lot Description
[COLORADO]. MOORE, G.W., photographer. A group of 4 boudoir cards featuring scenes around Ouray. Ouray, CO: Rose, Jeweler, [ca 1890s].
4 boudoir photographs, each 7 x 4 1/2 in. on cardstock mounts (toning, soiling, spots of discoloration, and wear to mount edges and corners). Each with "Rose, Jeweler, Ouray, Colo." stamped on mount recto. 3 images include captions in the negative: "Riverside Snow Tunnel, Ouray Toll Road, 400 Feet Long 40 Feet High, Ouray Colo. / Moore Photo," "Animas Canyon Snow Slide, Near Silverton Colo, Cut 80 Feet Deep," and "Ouray Colo. Moore Photo." Ink inscriptions on versos give additional information about the scenes pictured.
