[LATE INDIAN WARS]. A group of 2 caps, highlighted by Late Indian War-era forage cap. 


Standard pattern forage cap from the Late Indian War-period with infantry insignia pinned at front. Louis E. Stilz & Bro., Philadelphia, PA, mark on interior cloth lining (interior leather band fully separated from cap, scattered holes throughout wool fabric, surface wear to visor). 

State cap with "29 / F" company infantry insignia pinned at front, late 19th century (significant wear to interior leather band, which is partially separated from cap, occasional holes throughout fabric, surface wear to visor).
