釋文：節錄《涼州刺史魏元丕碑》君讳（缺）字元丕，京兆（缺）牙都尉之（下缺）有毕万者，仙去仕晋，逢勋封魏，秦（下缺）良爰暨于君，禀乾气之纯懿，履奚之（下缺）圣哲（缺五字）苞容，允执虔恭。其仕州郡也，躬素忠謇，犯而忽期，兼综宪法，通识百典。（下缺）孝廉，除郎中、尚书、侍郎、右丞，遭泰夫人忧，服阕还台，拜尚书、侍郎，秉总（下缺）廷科绩，特拜左丞。每在选举，逊让匪石，钻前忽后，遂耽思旧章，寻微贯（缺）能（下缺）枢衡匡弼，九年而罔愆，西羌放动，馀类未辑，讠州咨群寮，惟德是与。拜凉州刺史，（下缺）流以荡邪。志乐季文粟帛之介，公仪彻织庖园之节，崇文德以来远斑（下缺）下，彝戎宾服，干戈戢藏。施舍弗券，求善不厌，举不失追选，官不易方，百工惟时，（下缺）有优洋洋奂乎若德，光濯冠乎诸牧。盖四时炎序，功成则退。君屡辞以疾，三（下缺）无穷而垂式，度不可革

each worked on one side with a large primary rectangular frieze utilizing various jade, agate, lapiz, and agate carved plaque and cabochons to show bird, and mythical beast gathering in lush forested landscapes and near craggy outcroppings, all between registers of gilt decorated painted landscape scenes and floral sprays flanking gilt roundels. The lowest register carved with deep reticulated ruyi heads, and the reverse incised with gilt verse.
