Condition:
The overall condition is good structurally with the following:
Structural Issues: One of the side rivets has detached just below the D-ring where the shoulder strap attaches. There is a generic lock attached to the D-ring on one side and there is no key to remove it. The leather piping along the base has considerable wear, losing the polished finish and having a rougher texture.
Soiling/Spots: The shoulder strap has some dark spots near the shoulder guard and several water spots along the length. The rolled handles have darkened from use and the leather straps running both the length and circumference of the bag have many areas of water spotting or various soiled spots. The canvas has a white mark about 9.5" down from the center top and along with other light toned areas noticeable on the opposite side and around the base of the bag. There is a scratch on the back left side of the bag near the leather strapping.
Corrosion/Tarnish: There is some verdigris on most of the leather strap rivets. The hardware has darkened overall throughout the bag.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. All other condition issues are stated above. To request additional working condition photos, please email [email protected] with the lot number.
