Military appointment, 9.5 x 13.5 in., appointing William Mansell as Adjutant for the Royal Marines. [London], 12 Nov. 1851. Signed upper left by Queen Victoria (1819-1901, R 1831-1901), with blue blindstamped seal along left edge, and a £ 1 - 10 - 0 tax notation below inked stamp. Also signed by members of the Admiralty. Very good signature. (Lower edge of paper a bit frayed)
