A striking portrait of Little Horse of the Oglala Sioux tribe dressed in his ceremonial garb which includes headdress, buffalo bone vest, and animal pelts. The original image was taken around 1899 by a member of the Heyn family, (likely Herman) working photographers active in Omaha.
