Pencil inscription to verso identifies place and several subjects. A group of behatted men and several children pose outside of a large log cabin festooned with patriotic flag bunting, a giant "Harrison and Morton" sign, and framed portraits of the candidates.

Photographer's imprint and image title printed to mount verso. An outdoor image of a log cabin with a porch. Along the ridge is a large jugate portrait of Benjamin Harrison and Levi Morton flanked by a sign reading "Republican Headquarters." The roof is also festooned with three signs reading "Oregon 7,000. / Vermont 27,000. / Maine 20,000."

A sign identifies the building as the "Republican Club Headquarters," likely themed for the campaign of Benjamin Harrison.
