清中期 藍緞地剪絨牡丹紋女袍
the ground of deep velvet worked in the form of bats and butterflies soaring amidst floral sprays cut to a blue satin, and bordered at the collar and side ruyi vents with delicately embroidered cream ground ribbons showing various scholar's objects and auspicious symbols in various fruit, fan, and book-form reserves and interspersed with a dense scroll of gilt metallic threads. The center and cuffs with a similar cream-ground ribbons worked with deer and peacocks between scrolling fretwork. Finished with central knot toggles and lined in blue.
