A quarter plate ruby ambrotype portrait featuring a well-dressed man and woman. N.p.: n.p., n.d. (Some imperfections to emulsion and spotting to plate, with heavy spotting to mat and discoloration to preserver; resealed.) Housed under mat, glass, and preserver only, no case. -- A pair of sixth plate daguerreotype portraits, one featuring a man and one featuring a woman holding what appears to be a closed cased image in her lap. N.p.: n.p., n.d. (Light tarnishing to edges and light spotting to plates, with heavy discoloration to mat; resealed, with no preservers.) Housed together in a pressed paper case (heavy wear including loss and separation throughout). Both portraits appear to be taken in the same studio, with the same ornate pillar and decorative object visible to the right of each subject. -- A pair of sixth plate daguerreotype portraits, one featuring a man and one featuring a young woman with braided hair. New Orleans: J.W. Newland, n.d. (Heavy tarnishing to edges and spotting and some scratching to plates; resealed with new glass, no preservers.) Housed together in a fully separated and deteriorating leatherette case (all pieces barely kept together, some edges missing, others fully separated). Both mats stamped "Newland's." -- And 8 other daguerreotypes including 5 sixth plate examples featuring two subjects, 2 sixth plate examples featuring one subject but housed together in the same case, and one sixteenth plate example featuring two subjects in front of a painted background.
