Nine coat buttons. Various manufacture. 20-22 mm diam. brass buttons (some darkening and tarnishing). Each features the federal eagle with shield and includes an artillery example ("A" on shield, 21 mm), infantry ("I" on shield, 21 mm), and cavalry ("C" on shield, 22 mm). Two high domed examples may be post-war. -- Nine cuff buttons. [Waterbury, CT]: Scoville Mfg., n.d. 14mm. brass buttons (some tarnising, occasional dents).

[With:] Crossed swords cavalry pin with "12" above and "I" below. Approx. 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 in. brass hat pin (some darkening). For unknown states 12th Cavalry, Company I. -- Large eagle hat plate.
