Condition:
The overall condition is fair to good with the following:
THE FIRST
Structural Issues: The satin along the bottoms of each toe is worn through.
Losses: The shoes are missing their ribbon ties.
Soiling/Spots: The box and heel are very well soiled and worn from use as are the interiors. Hardened glue is noticeable on the heels of each shoe.
THE SECOND
Structural Issues: Nothing visible however the frame, while intact is likely not as flexible as it was originally.
Split/Separated Seams: The back tail on the wire frame is starting to come loose.
Losses: Some of the black thread wrapped around the wire frame is missing
Fading/Color Change: There is some slight lightening due to age.
Corrosion/Tarnish: There is some rust along the wire frame where exposed. Some of the stones have started to discolor underneath and rust along the settings.
THE THIRD
Structural Issues: Nothing visible however the frame, while intact is likely not as flexible as it was originally.
Losses: Some of the gold thread wrapped around the wire frame is missing on the back left crown.
Fading/Color Change: There is some lightening due to age.
Corrosion/Tarnish: There is some rust along the wire frame where exposed on the back left crown and some of the stones have started to degrade underneath and rust along the settings.
THE FOURTH
There are two large creases running the lengths of the print, top to bottom. There is a 0.5" split at the bottom of the first crease. The paper has curled and no longer lays flat without assistance. The back of the print appears to have had tape affixed at the top and bottom.
THE FIFTH
There are some small creases at the top right corner and bottom right edge with a folded corner. The corners are starting to curl and there are some very small pits within the print in the upper left corner. The back of the print appears to have had tape affixed at the top and bottom.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
