Condition:
The overall condition is good-very good with the following:
THE FIRST
Structural Issues: A couple of the waist closures are loose.
Losses: There are some smaller holes located on the front and back right and left sleeve, the bottom of the right side seam of the skirt overlay.
Fading/Color Change: The overall coloring has yellowed with age.
Soiling/Spots: The underarms are lightly soiled and yellowed. There are some darker soiled spots found along the interior neckline, the front right neckline flounce, right sleeve flounces and lace, the underskirt front and back interior hemline, and the back skirt overlay towards the right side seam.
Repairs/Alterations: A repair has been made on the center front skirt overlay nearest the hemline above the lace. The sleeves have some stitched tucks along the under arm but appear irregular and may be repairs made at some point but inconclusive.
THE SECOND
Fading/Color Change: The overall color has yellowed due to age.
Soiling/Spots: There is a small orange spot on the back skirt around center back knee level with some smaller fainter spots from the base of the closure. The front skirt has some light spots on the lower embordered sections There is some general mild soiling in the interior upper bodice.
Repairs/Alterations: The interior waistband has had a replacement of the right side from side front to center back closure.
THE THIRD
Structural Issues: There is a pea sized hole under the right arm at the side seam.
Fading/Color Change: The overall color has yellowed due to age.
Soiling/Spots: The neckline and under arms have some moderate to heavy soiling from wear and there are several orange spots throughout the dress with the largest concentrations on the top right sleeve, bottom left sleeve, the back left skirt, and around the hemline on the front.
THE FOURTH
Structural Issues: The crocheted lace along the neckline is coming loose from the neckline at both high shoulder points.
Losses: There are a couple of holes located on the left side seam around knee level and the front right near the hemline. The top button in the lace bib section is missing.
Fading/Color Change: The overall color has yellowed due to age.
Soiling/Spots: There are some faint dark marks along the front placket of the jacket starting around hip level to lower leg. There are various spots throughout but mostly along the left side and lower hemline. The back left sleeve just above the hem has a rectangular orange spot.
Repairs/Alterations: A few of the buttons appear to have been replaced along the center front placket with a repair made to the 4th button from the top.
THE FIFTH
Fading/Color Change: The front has yellowed slightly in the upper chest area.
Soiling/Spots: The right underarm has some moderate soiling due to wear and a dark mark on the top of the right shoulder.
THE SIXTH
Fading/Color Change: The overall color has yellowed due to age.
Soiling/Spots: There are some spots along the hemline located at the center front, right front and back side seam, and back left side seam. A small spot is on the right sleeve flounced cuff. There are some small sized dark orange spots down the front just to the right of the front button closure.
