Condition:
The overall condition is good structurally with the following:
Structural Issues: See note in Repairs/Alterations and Losses about splits and holes.
Losses: There are small holes under each of the arms in the outer fabric. The interior satin ribbon at the waist has a few areas where it has worn away. The skirt has several holes of varying sizes mostly along the front hemline and left back side. There may be some missing buttons on the sleeves but not conclusive.
Fading/Color Change: Some minor color changing under each arm.
Soiling/Spots: Each under arm is heavily soiled due to wear and is noticeable mostly in the lining.
Repairs/Alterations: There are a couple of loose tacks made to the center front of the dress bodice. The right sleeve has been restitched and there is a patch on the side seam just under the arm hole. The back right waist has been restitched at the center back opening where the bodice attaches to the skirt. The center back opening appears to have been altered or moved from the original locations. Almost the entirety of the front hemline has been conserved using brown synthetic organza and other various patches.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
