Condition:
THE FIRST
The overall condition is good structurally with the following:
Structural Issues: There are some small splits on the upper shoulders as well as some splits along the seam of the right sleeve and the collar pleating. The left side bodice has numerous small splits starting to form.
Losses: There is a small hole on the front left hemline near the side seam.
Soiling/Spots: There is some light-moderate soiling under each arm. The front left waist has a blue toned spot near the closures and the lower hip area has a small orange toned spot near the hemline.
THE SECOND
The overall condition is good structurally with the following:
Structural Issues: Some of the pleats have come unstitched in various areas throughout the bodice.
Split/Separated Seams:
Losses: There are several areas along the collar, hemline, and sleeve hems where the taffeta has worn thin exposing the cording underneath. A few of the button coverings have become threadbare, especially those below the waistline.
Soiling/Spots: The underarms are moderately soiled which has led to some minor discoloration on the exterior shell. The front button placket near the waist has some orange spots. The interior lining has some moderate soiling, mostly along the neckline, underarms, and waist.
Repairs/Alterations: There is a repair made under the right arm.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
