THE FIRST
The overall condition is fair with the following:
Structural Issues: There are splits in the fabric along the neckline fold.
Losses: There are small pin holes at the top of the front closure, on the front right at chest level, and on each of the sleeve tiers.
Soiling/Spots: There are minor spots throughout the lining with heavier soiling under each arm.
THE SECOND
The overall condition is good with the following:
Split/Separated Seams: The shell along the back neckline has split from the seam.
Losses: There is a small amount of loss on the back neckline and a small hole on the back left side panel.
Fading/Color Change: The interior lining has darkened due to age.
Soiling/Spots: There are some orange spots throughout the bodice, most noticeably on the sleeve facings.
Repairs/Alterations: There are several shaped stitch marks throughout the sleeves and front bodice which suggests there was once a trim that was removed or the bodice shaping darts were reworked. The front lining may have been replaced at some point in the past.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
