Condition:
THE FIRST
The overall condition is good structurally with the following:
Structural Issues: The soles and interiors are both moderately worn
Losses: There are several areas of thread loss throughout both slippers, mainly in the tan and brown pigmented areas (could likely be due to Insect Activity). The center back shoe binding has some loss.
Fading/Color Change: There is some slight darkening overall on each shoe.
Soiling/Spots: The interiors of each slipper has soiling consistent with wear.
Insect Damage: See Losses.
THE SECOND
The overall condition is fair with the following:
Structural Issues: Each interior and exterior sole is well worn through standard use.
Losses: there are several holes (likely from Insect Activity) on each slipper and the binding along the openings has unraveled or threadbare.
Fading/Color Change: Each toe of the slippers appears to have lightened slightly.
Soiling/Spots: The interior soles are well worn.
Insect Damage: See Losses.
THE THIRD
The overall condition is fair with the following:
Structural Issues: The leather covered spring areas are starting to degrade and become brittle. The leather pieces are heavily worn but still intact.
Losses: There are areas of taffeta loss on both braces, primarily at the elasticized ends.
Fading/Color Change: There is an overall darkening throughout both braces.
Soiling/Spots: There are orange colored spots on both braces.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
